Q-Lab is a music company set up by Amiga musician, Will Morton who has been working with a number of Games Developers to create music for their games. The music of these games is said to be of such high quality that he has decided to release a number of albums.
Q-Lab's first release is to be Sound Stream Volume 1, an audio sample CD for musicians who need a well organised, good quality collection of original samples without having to pay the £60+ fee normally charged by Sample CD companies. The CD also comes with a CD-Rom track full of hints and tips on sampling and sequencing (including tips for Octamed) and a detailed description of each sample. Sound Stream will be out in the middle of April at the price of £19.99 UK pounds.
Q-Lab will shortly release the music album to FUBAR (a C&C style game) featuring music from the game itself, plus exclusive remixes and unreleased tracks. In all there are 17 tracks containing studio mastered music by Will Morton, plus a track by the Oxford Rock Band "The Unchosen" and there is a remix by Rooney. The FUBAR album has just gone to the duplicators and should be out soon at a price of £11.99 UK Pounds.
A mini-album from hit game; Zombie Massacre will be out in May, which includes 5 full, unedited, studio version tracks including an unreleased version of the title music. The Zombie Massacre album is priced at 5.99 UK pounds. Q-Lab also has a game in development called W.E.L. which will be an Epic 3D Action Adventure Game.
