Q-Lab, which was previously an Amiga Music company, making music for games such as Zombie Massacre, FUBAR, and others has entered the Amiga games scene more directly with their first title, Po Po Chicken.
Po Po Chicken is a fast paced, colourful platform game in the style of Donkey Kong Country, crossed with Bubble Bobble, crossed with Chuckie Egg. Q-Lab is currently looking for a programmer; if you are a talented individual, you may send a CV and examples of your work to Q-Lab.
Another game Q-Lab is working on is called W.E.L. (working title), which is a 3D action adventure game. Some of the design sketches and mock-ups can be seen on this page, they are to hire more staff soon to help speed up development. Their last game in development is going to be a 3D war game, which they are aiming for this game to be as realistic as possible, so the design team are going all-out on the detail.
Q-Lab has also opened up their mail order shop, Amiga Gamers should check out their web site for the shop has a number of Amiga games and game soundtracks available to buy at reasonable prices.
