Pagan Software has announced that they are developing two more games, Satellite 13 and Scavengers.
Satellite 13 is an action adventure fighter game, with there being two engines in development, a point-click-and-go and an beat'em up. It is to meld action and adventure by combining the best elements of platformers, beat'em ups and point and click adventures with non linear gameplay and a few completely new twists resulting in a unique and original game.
The plot is about a man who has been sentenced to life imprisonment on a distant planet's moon in the future. The moon is a galactic prison where the criminals of the universe (human and alien) are left to fend for themselves. You'll have to contend and interact with various inmates as well as the forces of nature and the moons various native inhabitants in an attempt to survive and ultimately escape.
Satellite 13 will require an 030 processor, 8MB Fast Ram, and will be CD-Rom only.
Scavengers is a space action adventure based on a strong cinematic storyline and a state of the art real-time 3D environments. Depending on the spec of your Amiga, it will have full screen cut scenes, voxel based landscapes and space battles, and fully textured isometric real-time locations to explore and fight in, high quality full surround sound effects and CD music tracks.
The plot for Scavengers to is travel through space with your band of desperadoes and outcasts, fighting pirates or becoming one, trading with or ravaging space stations and to explore the strange and beautiful planets in a bid to pillage them of their valuable resources. There is an underlying storyline that evolves throughout the game. You're in charge of a crew who are carrying a "special" shipment bound for the Cassian system but things go wrong. On the journey there they stop to savage a derelict freighter. It's been torn up by missile blasts and bullet holes, and inside the cargo bays they discover the dead bodies of many colonists. A Corp Cruiser appeared but your ship gets away to the Cassian system. Although on arrival the contact they are supposed to make the delivery to, doesn't answer their communications. They decide to make the delivery by going to the transfer point but then Corp ships enter the system and they decide to leave the system to escape attack. Before leaving one of the crew members hacked into the planet Net and learns that the colonists there came under attack by the Corp and the some colonists had escaped on the same ship they had previously found. It seems that their shipment could be possibly what the Corp is looking for and so they open up the cargo to find out what it is. It turns out their special cargo is the bodies of child sized aliens and also artifacts that looked like some kind of alien technology. They decide that it is too risky to have them in their possession with the Corp hunting them down and so go in search of a buyer.
Scavengers will require at least an 040 processor, 8/ 16MB Fast Ram, CD-Rom only and will have PPC and GFX card support.
