Amigactive is a new glossy newsstand magazine for the Amiga, which was announced some months back on Amiga Flame. In their latest statement they have announced the opening of Amigactive Online, which according to the Amigactive Team will �form an integral part of the Amigactive experience, and will be updated frequently with the latest news about the magazine as well as news from the rest of the Amiga world.
It remains unclear when the first issue of Amigactive will be out, but there is the suggestion that the first issue will be ready in time for the World of Amiga show, as they have taken a stand at the event.
The release of a new Amiga magazine is seen as another significant step that the Amigactive team recognise, as they �feel confident that the market for Amiga magazines will shortly become a growth industry�.
There are strong indications that as the release of the Amiga NG draws closer, so are companies preparing to cater for the new market it will create as this week's news on Amiga Flame proves.
