Blittersoft who only recently entered into the Amiga Games Market as a Publisher has just snapped another game, this time FUBAR, a war game from developers Q-Software who describe FUBAR as "the full war simulation experience".

FUBAR can be played in two modes Quick-Fire and Strategic, in Quick-Fire the object is to destroy all the opponents on your continent after choosing from an arsenal of weapons of your own choice. In Strategic, it starts with the player building a settlement and creating a tribe, then moving to a bigger objective for the player must raise an army to conquer the surrounding villages and eventually the world. For the army to become a good one it must have good resources, and the settlement must develop into a town, a city, a nation and beyond by creating power plants, barracks, hospitals, factories and take on the world whilst you do it. It is upon you to plan everything tactically such as plan ambushes, destroy key installations, train spies, and more. You can develop chemical, electrical or nuclear devices, all of which will shape your civilisation and its armies. Biotech soldiers, tanks carrying nuclear shells, helicopters spraying deadly waste onto the battlefield, the possibilities are endless. The designers of FUBAR sure aren't planning a little skirmish of a war but complete and total war.

It boasts over 350 troops, vehicles and missiles for up to 16 players, computer or human and be Internet compatible. It will include full game customisation allowing worlds, governments, units, troops, inventions and graphics to be created that can be added to the original game to maximise the games life. They have also added full motion video cut scenes and full CD quality audio with the intro including music from "The Unchosen", an English rock and metal band who perform in Oxford.

FUBAR will require Aga, 030 processor, Fast Ram, 20MB Hard Disk space, CD-Rom only and have PPC, AHI and graphics card support. FUBAR is looking like one mean war game and is another good addition to Blittersoft's growing line up of games.
