The World Foundry are seeking a talented 2D/3D graphics artist to help in the development of The World Foundry's revived game Maim & Mangle set in our Explorer 2260 game universe.
Those interested should be aware it is a RTS game with both a 3D landscape and models, which is radically different from any other Amiga games of this game style. It is currently being developed for the Amiga 68k and PPC computers and taking advantage of 3D hardware like that of the BlizzardVision GFX cards and the forthcoming Voodoo Picasso IV add-on. Any prospective candidates must be capable of the following: Experienced in 3D work (particularly vehicle / building models). Having experience with Lightwave. Making good quality texture maps for terrain (128x128 256 colour). Experience in object optimisation (polygon reduction, etc). Acquainted with the World Foundry game encyclopedia or are willing to read it to become familiar with the alien races and the consistent style wanted across all games made. Able to take constructive criticism on the work. Able to stick to deadlines. Willing to participate in discussions on game ideas. Dedication to the completion of the project.
