The staff at Alive Mediasoft have got into the Christmas spirit and confirmed that 5 games will be released before Christmas, which will include, Whales Voyage 2, Putty Squad, Fightin Spirit (Re-release), Spherical Worlds (Re-release), Black Viper (Re-release), and Whales Voyage (Re-release).
Goal 2000 has just been released, with the soccer game winning numerous magazine awards when it was originally released. It features a huge selection of fully editable teams, real player names and kits, four pitch views such as Wembley, Normal, Wet and Muddy, with all matches playable in full and half scale, horizontal and vertical. There is refined gameplay and good computer controlled players. It boasts some new features, which include new in-gameplay tweaks, now near perfect gameplay, all up-to-date team strips, the most up-to-date teams from Premier League and Ensley League and a new Cup knock-out competition with aggregate replays.
Alive Mediasoft's, Steven Flowers regards this soccer game as his all time favourite game, having this to say about Goal 2000, Seeing an average of 10 hours a week, this is the most played game in the Alive offices. "Why?" I hear you say... well the secret is the playability which is the finest I've ever experienced.
Putty Squad is Alive Mediasoft second big release, and for many gamers it has been a long time coming. It never really got released properly, with the game never reaching the Amiga public for many years. It also seemed for a while like Alive Mediasoft might have failed, but they proved us all wrong with it released just in the last week.
