Sabrina Offline is a 3D Platform Game based on characters from the excellent Eric W. Schwartz comic strip "Sabrina Online".
It was first announced by Digital Images at the World of Amiga show at which they claimed Sabrina Offline would be the 'Best Game Ever'. The developers have now clarified a little on how they plan to make this claim hold firm. A Digital Images spokesman said, �We are doing away with most of the dusty old conventions of video gaming and replacing them with the next set of ideas that will get ripped off by brainless Developers who won't do anything unless someone else has done it first. This includes an exciting new SECRET Level Structure that, to our knowledge, has never been implemented (or perhaps even thought of) before�. One more example of removing the conventions is that �in Sabrina Offline, we (Digital Images) will be implementing new ideas, characters and monsters with every Level Set, you'll want to complete each Level just to see what we do next�.
Those people familiar with the Eric W. Schwartz comic will be pleased to know that characters such as Sabrina, Amy, Thomas, Tabitha, Carli and Spike will be playable, each bringing their own skills. There will also be a new character, called Sheila, who has not appeared in the comic yet.
Sabrina Offline is going to be an original and interesting game for the Amiga NG, especially one inspired by a comic strip.
