Sanios Software has obtained a License from Monolith Production Inc to convert Rage of Mages, a real-time strategy game to the Amiga. It is worth noting that this is the second game to be signed by an Amiga developer from the Monolith Production Inc range in the last two weeks, the first being high-end 3D shooter, Shogo.
Rage of Mages is about a high-spirited Hero who has set out on the quest for the magical weapon that will break the devastating cycle of war that has exhausted the once-noble Kania Empire. The mysterious island of Uimoir, which harbours the only hope for victory and redemption, has become a Hero's graveyard. But now a new generation is willing to take up the desperate challenge again, buoyed with courage and a deep belief in the quest, the court magician decides to equip these new adventurers with a priceless and powerful amulet. But will you fall prey to a horrible fate?
Rage of Mages features over 25 branching missions that pits you against 50 kinds of deadly enemies and creatures. It has some stunningly beautiful artwork in a true-3D terrain, and real-time lighting effects.
No release date has been set but this is another good-looking title, which should do well on the Amiga.
