Sensible World Of Soccer is quite legendary for most Amiga Gamers will have either bought or know about it. It was a soccer game by Sensible Software, it was instant hit which sparked many Updates until Sensible Software left the Amiga.
The Amiga SWOS Network realises that many SWOS fans will be playing with teams that are well out of date. As we know in soccer, players are bought up by clubs, quit, or go to be soccer commentators. The aim of the Amiga SWOS Network is to update the soccer teams of every team in SWOS, which means nearly every football team in the world.
To help in this huge task they are seeking out Administrators, one person for each country who will post actual team data's of their country to ASN periodically. ASN will collect these data's, correct and verify them. A big update will be released, called World Data every so often. There is at the moment a mailing list for administrators to discuss and share thoughts, problems.
This is clearly a huge task to take but I think it is just great to see that SWOS owners are working together to keep alive this great soccer game, that is still the best soccer game on the Amiga.
