Village Tronic is considering its on going support and development of new addon products for the graphics board PicassoIV. Their aim is to develop an 8MB 3D-addon board with a Voodoo chipset which simply means 3DFX.
This card would need a ZorroIII based Amiga system like A4000, A3000 or A1200 with special ZorroIII extensions. For this hardware production Village Tronic are looking for 500 pre-orders to make it commercially viable, already 422 pre-orders have been taken and 78 are required before the deadline of the 20th of December.
A number of Games Developers have pledged their support, The World Foundry (Explorer 2260), Digital Images (Wipeout 2097 and more), Future Tales (Phoenix), developers of Adescent and some more. If you're interested in this new addon that will bolster 3D gaming for the Amiga then check out the survey on Village Tronic's web site.
