Hyperion Software has announced their first game for the Amiga NG is Worms: Armageddon. This high profile conversion startled many Amiga Gamers who most likely thought that Worms: The Directors Cut released a few years ago would be last in the series of Worms games for the Amiga.
Worms: Armageddon will be released for the current line of Amiga's as well as the Amiga NG, however the Amiga classic version will require a graphics-board (AGA version under review) and will support soundcards through AHI.
Hyperion Software has shocked Amiga Gamers for the last few months reaching deals to convert games such as Heretic 2 and Shogo. This is seen by many Amiga Gamers as being one of the best conversion deals signed. Worms: Armageddon is scheduled to be released by the end of the year.
