News has been received from Digital Images that negotiations with Psygnosis are complete and so Wipeout 2097 will be coming to the Amiga. Reaction from readers has been swift with many seeing this as a clear indicator that companies which left the Amiga are becoming once more interested. According to Stuart Walker of Digital Images they seemed very interested in the conversion and seem to be looking forward to the new Amiga.
Wipeout 2097 will be PowerPC only, also requiring a Graphics Card, CD-Rom drive and 16MB Fast Ram. It should be out in three months time with Blittersoft, the publishers taking orders soon.
But this is not only the latest good news for ClickBOOM has finally confirmed that Z, a C&C style game developed by The Bitmap-Brothers is also coming to the Amiga. ClickBOOM have opened a section specifically for Z on their web site, which also announces that it will be ready early in the new year.
